Running and screaming in my mind

Eating up my slumber and peace

Words of darkness, words of fear
Words which remained clutched in my lips.
Words of failures, words of losses
Words which got swayed by rips.

Curtailing the sound of my laughter
Are some words left unsaid.
And shrinking the size of my smile

Words of longing, words of need
Words of help I daily plead.
Words of compassion, words of defeat
And words of the wounds I bleed.

Standing like a wall between us
